Latin America & the Caribbean
The LAC region is set upon devising a Forum of the Countries of Latin American and the Caribbean on Sustainable Development. It will be the space for the follow-up and review the implementation of the 2030 Agenda at the regional level.
This Forum will be agreed under the Thirty-Sixth Session of ECLAC that will take place in Mexico, 23-27 of May. It is expected that at some point in 2016 and 2017 the regional discussions on the follow up of the Financing for Development process at the regional level takes place as well.
The region has a working group to engage collectively in the process. The aims of this working group is to maintain the integrity of the regional instruments, such as Montevideo Consensus and others, when devising the follow-up and review, indicators and implementation for the 2030 Agenda at the regional level.
